Işık is a theatre director, producer, and co-founder of Aesthetics of Hope and Other Nonsense Collective. Her work explores migration, gender, and political safety through a feminist and class-conscious lens, creating politically engaged theatre rooted in collective practice.
She holds a Master’s degree in Directing for Stage and Screen and has worked across theatre and film in the UK as both a director and Associate/Assistant Director.
Işık is also a directing mentor with the Australia-based First Slice Initiative and teaches at Collective Acting Studio in London.
